Riding Apparel? Please help me! Thank you!?
Hello everybody….
I have a pair of EQ riding tights. When I started riding, ( about a year ago), my mom’s cousin gave them to me. Well I need to get a new pair because they are getting worn out. They are a size XL. I think that its is a children’s XL, and so does my friend. Well, I am have trouble finding a pair. These have little stirrups at the bottom, and I really like that. They don’t have to be EQ, but they can’t be very expensive either. I know that riding apparel is pricey but nothing above $55. I really need some help finding a pair. Also, could you help with some riding boots and half chaps? Also, how do you size riding bottoms (all kinds) and half chaps? I am such a newbie at the clothing thing. It is kind of embarrassing. Also, if you know of any tack shops in the Lancaster, PA area could you include the name and a link? Thanks you!

I’m sorry that the links are not working, but you can copy and paste the web address into your web bar thingy at the top!
TennisQueen- i’m sorry you find them ugly but you just might be bias considering that you have to see your face everyday so everything is ugly.
Statelinetack has that same brand with the stirrups. I have a pair and they are pretty nice for schooling. Here’s the link:

Here are some really good half chaps too:http://www.statelinetack.com/item/moxie-ladies-air-puff-half-chaps/SLT700901%20XL%20BRN/
And some fantastic paddock boots:http://www.statelinetack.com/item/saxon-ladies-equileather-lace-paddock/SLT653841%201000%20BLK/
The great think is that this is all from one website. So only one order!
Hope i helped!
What’s the best apparel to wear when bike riding in chilly weather?
Thanks in advance!
You don’t want to get sweaty so you have to use layers and strip down or layer up as you feel hot or cold. I’ve never needed anything more than a wicking t-shirt, windbreaker and gloves down to 45 degrees F. In the upper 50’s I’ll lose the windbreaker.
In lower temps you either want a headband to cover your ears or a thin balaclava (that fits under your helmet) to cover your head and face, some sort of fleece or puffy insulation layer, and perhaps windpants. In rain of course you’ll need a waterproof-breathable rain pants and jacket and perhaps even waterproof shoe covers for longer rides.
