No leather horse back riding equipment?
Before you bark at me, saying "OMG your a vegan you cant ride a horse!" shut up. thats not the question. if you want to hash it out, find somebody else because im not going to. the reason why im vegan is none of your business, so please dont tell me to go eat a cheeseburger. its what i want to do with my life.
Im looking for a NON leather bridle, saddle and boots. If you know any places I can buy one, please let me know. And no, I currently do not have any leather equipment.
Wintec does make a synthetic saddle. I don’t particularly like them, but they are nice as far as synthetic saddles go… I prefer the leather, but I respect that you do not.

For bridles, you can find synthetic bridles or you could get a nylon bridle… if you get the nylon, you get to choose between any color that you could imagine. Here’s a link to an ebay page with many nylon bridles for sale… they also have the benefit of being really cheap! http://shop.ebay.com/items/_W0QQ_fromZR46QQ_sopZ12?_nkw=nylon+bridle&_fromfsb=0&_trksid=m270.l1313
Here’s a link to a synthetic bridle at the tractor supply website: http://www.mytscstore.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay_10551_10001_37507_-1______14499%7C14527%7C14529%7C37507?listingPage=true&Special=false
They make non-leather girths. The neoprene girths are a nice material and they’re really easy to clean. like this one: http://www.doversaddlery.com/product.asp?pn=X1-0282
As for boots, rubber riding boots are really easy to find.

Wintec makes good synthetic saddles, I suppose. They do have a wonderful benefit in that they’re very light. As for bridles, check out horsesdacor.com or perhaps it’s horsedacor.com. At any rate, they have a large selection of zilco, biothane, and beta biothane available in a wide variety of colors. As far as boots go….Dover, state line tack, national bridle shop….they may have the inexpensive rubber alternative boots available.
