And Liberty is not limited to only Arabians. It’s a staple at mini shows as well.
I’ve seen it in other breed/specializations as well.

Liberty seems like …
Liberty seems like about the most retarded event anyone could dream up, ever. Make your horse run as crazy as possible, and then have them look not even ($*%#(& halter broke when you can’t catch them without getting kicked. Yes, I’m sure it’s occasionally done well, but to look at confirmation a halter or lounge class seems extremely more applicable. At least there’s some actual trained qualities going on, not something similar to the kill pen at auction D:
Gross arabs! but …
Gross arabs! but its arabs doing what they do best, being freaks!
@joomyjoo i …
@joomyjoo i completely agree! I don’t understand the whole running around like crazy… I do hunters and jumpers and don’t understand the whole ‘arabian world’ thing… Is the point of horses really to run around crazy and “admire” their stress? I think any discipline with a lot of training like dressage or show jumping is a lot more appreciative of the beauty of the horse.
Everyone is just …
Everyone is just admiring the beauty of the horse. Arabians have to follow a certain physique that is signature to the breed. So they are admiring how well this horse represents the breed. From watching the video, it is clear that this is a very good example of the arabian breed. They are having the horse run to display its gaits and fluidity of movement. It’s an appreciation, an art.

i mean no offence …
i mean no offence to all of you horse lovers, but i don’t see whats so amazing about horses running around in circles. On what basis are they termed “good” in running around? I am curious. Again i mean no offence, and i find it funny that everyone is cheering like there is boxing match going on
